How do I become a member of 18 Week Support?
Complete this application form which will then be screened by one of our senior nursing leads for the specialty applied for. They will assess to see if you have the right skills, experience and decide if you are a right fit for our team who continue to deliver exceptional care to patients throughout the UK.
All applicants should have a minimum of 12 months experience working with the speciality applied for and be substantive within the NHS. As such, you should be fully compliant with NHS Employment Check Standards which can take some time to collate. We do have additional checks in place to ensure that consultants meet our quality standards, which may be outside of what other organisations ask for.

As a general rule, no-one needs to answer questions about spent convictions. However, this rule does not apply to specified professions, employments and occupations. By virtue of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) (Amendment) Orders, the exemption rule does not apply to:
a) any employment or other work which is concerned with the provision of health services and which is of such a kind as to enable the holder of that employment or the person engaged in that work to have access to persons in receipt of such services in the course of their normal duties, or
b) any employment or other work which is concerned with the provision of care services to vulnerable adults and which is of such a kind as to enable the holder of that employment or the person engaged in that work to have access to vulnerable adults in receipt of such services in the course of his normal duties
One or both of the above apply to work with 18 Week Support, and covers all occupations.
You are therefore requested to provide details of all convictions, including those which would otherwise be considered as “spent”. All applications will be considered carefully, and the disclosure of a conviction does not imply that this application will be rejected.
If you have selected yes to this option, please detail convictions on a separate piece of paper with your name clearly visible, place it in a sealed envelope and headed 'Private and Confidential' and send to -
18 Week Support Recruitment Team, Third Floor, 19-21 Great Tower Street, London, EC3R 5AR
If you selected this option please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org
