18 Week Support are pleased to announce its merger with Sussex Community Dermatology Service (SCDS) and Medical Clinics Limited (MCL), bringing together three organisations committed to improving patient access to high-quality dermatology care. This partnership strengthens our ability to support the NHS in managing dermatology demand and reducing waiting lists, alongside our nationwide insourcing solutions.
SCDS delivers one of the UK’s largest independent NHS dermatology services, providing consultant-led care in community settings. MCL is a specialist provider of dermatology services to NHS and private patients across the Southeast.
By combining their expertise with 18 Week Support’s NHS insourcing experience, we are expanding our dermatology offering to include insourcing within NHS facilities and fully outsourced pathways, including community clinics.
Together, our teams of Consultant Dermatologists, GPs with Extended Roles, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Nurse Prescribers and operational experts will continue working with the NHS to increase capacity, reduce waiting times, deliver quality care and improve patient access.
